B.I.T.E. News The first Chickamauga Division Tournament of the 2009 B.I.T.E season was held October 4th 2008. The weather was great and the fishing was difficult with teams catching bags of fish weighing from 2.30 LBS to 17.57LBS. Forty-four Teams participated during the tournament. Most fish were caught randomly with no real pattern established during the day. |

Chris Coleman and Chris Grizzle from
Soddy Daisy, TN fished crank baits and jigs on the main channel to catch
17.57LBS of fish and win 1st place money of $5,000.

Ryan Rigsby of Hickson, TN and Randy Rigsby of Ooltewah, TN
fished spinner baits in about 3ft of water and Carolina Rigs in 18-20ft of
water down lake on the main channel catching 15.42LBS to win second place
to take home $700.
Tom Kizziah III from Chickamauga, GA and Tom Kizziah Jr. from
Rocksprings, GA fished mid-lake in 6-8ft of water with jigs and spinner
baits catching 14.63LBS of fish to win 3rd place and take home
$500.
